IRV AS prefabricates and supplies complete piping systems, as well as high- and low-pressure coils, for offshore topside, subsea, and onshore industries. We also integrate associated process equipment such as valves, pumps, and tanks from most manufacturers. Through automated welding processes in our workshop, we keep production time to a minimum and ensure consistent, high quality in every joint.

Qualified Pipe Welding in Accordance with NORSOK M-601
All welding is performed in accordance with strict procedures, including NORSOK M-601. We have extensive experience with a wide range of materials and weld carbon steel, stainless steel (316), duplex, superduplex, 6Mo, titanium, and Inconel.
Maintenance and Cladding
When performing maintenance on existing facilities, we manufacture new pipelines and components based on existing dimensions. We also perform overlay welding (cladding) to restore or reinforce wear surfaces on pipes, pumps, and valves.
Testing, Heat Treatment, and Surface Treatment
We have the capacity to perform stress-relief heat treatment (PWHT) on our own premises. After production, we also handle pressure testing and surface treatment (corrosion protection) tailored to the end use.
Dedicated NDT bunker
Our separate NDT facility is located right next to the carbon steel department. Here, weld inspections and testing (X-ray, ultrasonic, etc.) are performed prior to delivery. Design and strength calculations are verified by external partners.

To verify that the piping systems comply with NORSOK M-601 and our customers’ requirements, we perform ongoing dimensional inspections and NDT testing (X-ray, UT, MT/PT) in our own integrated NDT facility prior to delivery.
